Many residents in Barrington Hills have alarms on their homes that go directly to their alarm provider, which then contacts the Police Department to send squads out to respond to an alarm. The Department also offers a service where alarms can be tied in directly to the alarm board in dispatch, eliminating the middleman and providing a quicker response to alarms.
